 Reproduction of an 1899 French Poster for Helm Cocoa

Born in Belgium in 1861, Privat Livemont was on of the foremost important artists in the Art-Nouveau movement, in the early 1890's. He studied in Paris from 1883 to 1889 while working in the studios of Lemaire, Lavastre & Duvignaud. Livemont, along with Lemaire, painted the decor of the Hotel de Ville, and the Theatre Francais. After spending several years in France, Livemont went back to Bruxelles and continued to work decorating the theatre, as well as casinos.
We have meticulously reproduced this piece to match the color and detail of the original. Each piece is individually printed using the same method used to create limited edition art. We use 100% cotton rag, fine art paper. This heavy textured paper is made in one of the oldest paper mills in England. Created using a mold process it closely resembles hand laid paper. In may respects these reproductions are more attractive than the original antiques.
Please note: Due to its size, the small framed print is only available with a cream-colored top mat, and the large print is only available unmatted. Plus, an additional $40 oversize shipping fee will be applied to orders for either of the framed maps when shipped.

Due to the INCREDIBLY high shipping prices charged for OVERSIZE shipping, shipping charges may be higher than quoted for items that measure more than a total of 70" (matted height + width). Since each is unique they may vary slightly from the item shown (when we have more than one if a particular item, the colors may be different than those shown). Each antique map or print has been dry cleaned by hand and are conservation mounted and protected in attractive rag mats.
